Nival Black Mustard Oil is pressed from black (kali) mustard seeds, prized across North and East India for its deep colour and sharp, warming pungency. This is the oil that gives Bengali, Bihari and traditional UP cooking its unmistakable character.

Pressed the kachi ghani way — crushed slowly in a wooden/steel ghani that keeps temperatures below 40°C, so the natural aroma, pungency and nutrients are never cooked out.

The strong aroma you notice on opening the bottle is the sign of a genuine, unrefined cold-pressed oil — the allyl isothiocyanate that makes mustard oil both flavourful and naturally protective.
